billiard balance began as an alias for the digital drawings of Lauren Abineri, an artist based in Narrm/Melbourne via Kaurna Land/Adelaide. Since moving into the art of tufting, billiard balance has since become a rug design and production project.

Each rug is designed and tufted from BB's home studio with tufting guns. The rugs begin as an idea or a spark, sometimes stemming directly from a digital drawing, and play with the balancing act of multiple shapes and layers.
