Custom

I am open to creating custom rugs! For me, it depends on what the project is:

✦ Something for you?

✧ If you are liking what you are seeing, we can chat about a custom rug/wall-hanging/artwork for you. Or perhaps there is a project that you are working on and you would like a custom rug to be a part of it. I usually work with the receiver in mind in terms of colours and forms, whilst working intuitively in the billiard balance visual style: abstract forms, gradients, rippling colours, muted pastels and balancing shapes!

✦ Something for someone else?

✧ Let's say there is someone in your life that you would like to give a unique gift. I am open to working together to put together something for that person in mind.

✦ Something in a custom size?

✧ If there is something you see on the website and you want to enquire about a different size other than what is available, we can definitely go from there! Maybe there's a square piece with a design that you could see snaking down your hallway. Or maybe there's a mini rug you could see as a maxi rug. At the time of writing this, I am only limited by my current frame size so the rugs available are the maximum size that my frame can accomodate. The maximum dimensions are currently ~ 150cm L x 80cm W. If you want to go bigger, let's chat. If you want to go smaller, let's also chat! I calculate the costs by weight of yarn used, cost of materials + labour. Custom pieces can be produced in 2-6 weeks and include a proof of concept prior to production.
